Philadelphia Marathon Weekend - Waitlist Applications

November 21-23, 2025

(Update) The AACR Philadelphia Marathon, Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon and the Rothman Orthopaedics 8K events are now sold out and the waitlists have been closed.


Rules:

• The waitlist is first come, first served.
  
  
• Participants interested in the waitlist can sign up on this site.
  
  
• A credit card is required to join the waitlist, but will *not* be charged unless you are selected.
  
  
• If spots become available, we’ll post an updated list of runners every other Thursday starting September 25. At that time, your credit card will be charged and your registration for the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend will be confirmed.
  
  
• If you’d like to be removed from the waitlist before your credit card is charged, you must email info@philadelphiamarathon.com with the subject line ‘Waitlist cancellation – [your event]’ by 12:00 PM EST on the Wednesday (November 5) before the next round of selections (November 6).
  
  
• If a waitlisted runner is selected and registered but can no longer compete, the standard transfer and deferral policies will apply. Because all events are closed, transfers between events are no longer being accepted. If you are accepted into the 2025 event, but wish to defer to 2026, the deadline to defer is November 1. Please review the deferral instructions for details on fees, deadlines, and restrictions.

The Philadelphia Marathon Weekend has the perfect event for seasoned or first-time athletes.
