Philadelphia Marathon Weekend - Waitlist Applications

November 21-23, 2025

Note: The 26.2 mile AACR Philadelphia Marathon is now sold out. You can sign up for the waitlist on this site.

Rules:

• The waitlist is first come, first serve.
  
  
• Interested participants for the waitlist can sign up on this site.
  .
• A credit card will be required, but will *not* be charged unless you are selected.
  
  
• If there are openings, we will upload a list of runners every other Thursday (starting Jul 17); at that point the credit card will be charged and selected runners are now officially registered with the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend.
  
  
• To be removed from the waitlist prior to their credit card being charged, you must notify info@philadelphiamarathon.com (subject line: Waitlist cancellation") no later than 12 noon EST one day prior on Wednesday, Jul 16, Jul 30, Aug 13, Aug 27, Sep 10, Sep 24, Oct 8 or Oct 22.
  
  
• If a waitlist applicant has already been selected and cannot compete, the same rules for transfers and deferrals apply (see deferral and transfer instructions for fees, deadlines and restrictions).

About the Event

The Philadelphia Marathon Weekend has the perfect event for seasoned or first-time athletes.

Our courses are scenic, fan-friendly and, most importantly, great for running. It’s no wonder we're consistently listed among the top ten races in the country.
