Hosted by Strait Area Ground Search and Rescue in collaboration with Highland Trail Running and the Cape George Trail Association.
Trail Race Overview
Join us for a scenic and challenging trail race along the stunning Cape George Trails in Nova Scotia! Choose between a 10K or 21K trail run that winds through coastal forest, rugged terrain, and breathtaking ocean views. Whether you're an experienced trail runner or new to trail running, this race offers something for everyone.
This event is a fundraiser for Strait Area Ground Search and Rescue (SAGSAR), with a portion of proceeds going to support the Cape George Trail Association.
A little bit about SAGSAR:
Strait Area Ground Search and Rescue (SAGSAR) is a fully volunteer-run, non-profit organization committed to delivering the highest level of response when someone goes missing in a wilderness setting. We cover the largest geographic area of any SAR team in Nova Scotia. Our dedicated volunteers are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Guided by the SAR motto, "so others may live," every donation we receive directly supports our ability to mobilize, reach remote areas, and assist those in need.
