The Geldergroots are running in solidarity with Palestine! 

We’ve been sickened as we’ve watched Israel ramp up their genocide on Palestine the last 22 months. Especially as our family welcomed little Annelise, our hearts break for the parents in Gaza who carry their babies lifeless bodies, the babies who are orphaned as their parents are martyred, the mothers who are being starved and cannot produce breast milk to feed their babies, babies who cry in hunger as aid trucks with formula are blocked at the border, families who seek care as the hospitals are bombed. The horrors go on and on. No person and no Palestinian deserves these atrocities that Israel has inflicted and Canada has aided. We run to raise money, to invite our friends and family to take action too and to call for a free Palestine! We also call for Canada to place a full and complete arms embargo on Israel and to recognize of the state of Palestine. We ask that any of our friends and family reading this can do the same.
