More Than a Race, thankful for 21 years
We are thrilled to let you know that the city has approved the date of September 20 for the return of Run for the STARS 2025. We have a new route, look for it under our course route section.
We are thankful for our corporate sponsors, our runners/walkers, and everyone who supported the Run for the STARS for 21 years. It has helped us meet the needs of our families who need the spiritual encouragement and encouragement of Christian camps, our STARS fall retreat, and has helped fund a grant to STARS Family Services to help pay for job coaching.
Run for the STARS was always about more than the race. It was the encouragement of the community coming alongside families affected by disability, and to affirm that they have value, and that we care about their children.
We will continue to seek out ways that we can help meet the needs of our families, while encouraging them as well.
