Our story…
Practically every day the Holy Family St. Vincent de Paul helpline receives calls from single mothers needing rent assistance to keep a roof over the heads of the children, struggling fathers who may have lost their jobs, or households that simply don’t have enough food. Your support for Bob and Jackie Greenfield in this year’s Friends of the Poor Walk will benefit these, our ‘friends-in-need.’ When our neighbors and friends in the community fall on hard times, SVdP helps regardless of color, creed, or circumstances. Please help us help the poor. Your support will go directly to the needy in our community. And if you happen to be in Irving on Oct. 25, come to Holy Family and join us as we walk in solidarity with the poor.
