Sue's Gift 17th Annual Be Ovary Aware 5k Run 3K Walk.
Join us in raising awareness for ovarian cancer and supporting Coloradans affected by all seven types of gynecologic cancers — ovarian, fallopian tube, uterine/endometrial, cervical, vaginal, vulvar, and peritoneal. This event proudly benefits Sue’s Gift – Gynecologic Cancer Support.
At Sue’s Gift, we believe everyone deserves the best possible chance at survival, regardless of their financial or social circumstances. Our Financial Assistance Program helps individuals undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer cover essential living expenses, easing the burden during an incredibly challenging time.
In addition, our Peer Support Program—launched with a grant from the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance—trains survivors who are one year post-treatment to mentor those newly diagnosed with the same type of cancer. Research shows that individuals with strong emotional, social, and financial support throughout their cancer journey experience better outcomes and lower rates of PTSD.
Your generosity directly supports these vital programs, bringing hope, strength, and practical assistance to those facing gynecologic cancer in Colorado.
The Be Ovary Aware racecourse offers a scenic, flat route that winds along the beautiful Fountain Creek. This out-and-back course follows the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail and begins and ends in America the Beautiful Park, located in the heart of Downtown Colorado Springs.
Registration Fees
Adults: $35 with pre-registration | $45 on race day
Youth (16 and under): $15 with pre-registration | $25 on race day
Youth may participate for free, but will not receive the paid participant benefits.
*All pricing listed is before tax and processing fees. Additional expenses will be incured at final check out.
T-Shirts
Event T-shirts are not included with registration this year. You have three options when it comes to this year's official 17th Annual Be Ovary Aware Race T-Shirt:
Purchase one for $25 during registration
Fundraise $50 and receive the shirt as a thank-you reward
Or simply skip the shirt — but whatever you choose, don’t forget to wear teal on race day to show your support!

Additional Be Ovary Aware gear is available through our Online Store, conveniently located on the Race Roster site.

Fundraising Incentives
$250 or more: Receive a personalized lawn sign (24” x 18”) to be displayed at the finish line on race day or in your own yard.
$500 or more: Earn a medium personalized banner (48” x 18”), proudly displayed on race day.
$1,000 or more: Be honored with a LARGE personalized banner (60” x 24”), featuring your chosen photo to honor a loved one, and displayed at the event.
