Volunteering for Happy as a Clam: What You Need To Know

1. THANK YOU for helping out! This will be fun!
2. Be at Essex Elementary, 12 Story St, Essex at 4 pm. Check in behind the school on the Hot Top (look for Betsy McKeen, Race Director - wearing a bright orange shirt). Plan to stay until 7:30 pm.
3. Please carpool or be dropped off, as parking is very limited.
4. We will give you a bright orange "Volunteer" shirt to wear over your other clothes at the race. This needs to be returned at the end of the night.
5. Wear comfortable shoes--you'll be moving around a lot.
6. Bring water and consider bringing some snacks/food for yourself.
7. We will send out a confirmation email immediately after you register, and again 1 week before the race.
8. Please do everything in your power not to cancel once you've registered to volunteer--the kids at EES are counting on you!
