Grey Bruce Animal Shelter Dog Jog 2025

Join us for this family- and Fido-friendly fun run/walk to raise awareness and support for the dogs and cats being cared for by the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter.

GBAS is an independently run shelter that cares for surrendered dogs and cats until they can be placed in their forever homes. The Shelter is run almost entirely by volunteers and receives no government funding.

You can join the Dog Jog as an individual or a team, with prizes for the top fundraisers. If you can't walk with us on October 4, you can donate in support of any participant or team.

Dogs are welcome, of course! The first 50 dogs to register will receive a Bark Bag of swag and treats, generously donated by local pet stores. No dog? No problem! We welcome all human supporters - even if you're a cat person!

New this year: Pet Portraits by Cindie Fearnall!

Cindie is a photographer, dog lover, cat lady, and nature buff. Her specialties include creating artistic portraits of pets, alone or with their people. She is a strong supporter of Grey Bruce Animal Shelter, and for this year's Dog Jog, she is offering a deal: For a $50 donation to GBAS, she will do a mini portrait session of your dog(s) right at the event, and provide a fully edited digital file suitable for posting online.
