The Kamal Green Foundation - Kindness in Action Memorial 1 Mile Run/Walk Fundraiser

The memorial 1 Mile Run/Walk Fundraiser was established to honor the life and legacy of Kamal Asante' Green, whose generous heart, compassion, service, inspiring presence, and kindness left a profound impact on everyone he encountered. Kamal passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. He served in the United States Navy 10 years as a medical technician and physical therapy technician with assignments at various U.S. duty stations and deployment to Djibouti, Africa. During his service, he received numerous recognitions, awards, and also earned several professional certifications, including personal trainer. Kamal was also actively pursuing a degree in Kinesiology to fulfill his dream of being a Physical Therapist.

To honor Kamal's memory and further his mission of helping others, his family has established the "Kamal Green Foundation - Kindness in Action" to inspire hope and promote wellness by providing physical therapy scholarships and financial assistance for health and wellness activities. Please support us in honoring him by registering to join us for this 2nd Annual Memorial 1 Mile Run/Walk event on the Northview High School track in Johns Creek, Ga on August 9th at 9 a.m. EST, and/or helping us reach our fundraising goal by making a donation. If you are not able to join us in person you can still register to participate virtually at your own time and/or make a donation. Your assistance will make a difference by helping to further the work that Kamal started.
