Team Challenge Points Structure

• Heats will consist of 12-15 runners from different run crews
• Heats will be assigned based on gender & average pace times
• Heats will be communicated to participants upon check-in on race day
• Points are awarded based on finishing order in each heat. Each runner's points will be added to their affiliated run crew total. This is not a timed event.
• Points from all team members across all heats are summed to determine the team's total score
• Top prize goes to the run crew with the highest cumulative points (get recruiting!)
• Prizes will also be available for the run crew with the highest average points per run crew member (to give smaller crews an opportunity to win, min 5 team members required to win this prize), and best team spirit (think coordinated outfits, over-the-top cheering, branded gear etc).

Additional Rules:

• Disqualification (DQ): If a participant is disqualified (e.g., fails to finish all beers), they receive 0 points.

• Ties: In the case of a tie for any position, both participants receive the full points for that position.

• Incomplete Heats: If fewer than 12 participants are in a heat, the remaining point slots are left unawarded.
