Help Maria raise money

As an Occupational Therapist working in mental health, I see day in and day out the impact of operational stress injuries on the first responder population. Throughout my time as a Community OT with CBI Health, I've been fortunate to work with police officers, firefighters, dispatchers, correctional officers, nurses, and paramedics who have all been impacted by post-traumatic stress disorder. I came across Wounded Warriors through this work and ever since I found out about the 24 Hours of Heroes event a couple of years ago, the thought of not participating was not even an option. Pushing myself to my limits for one weekend out of the year is nothing compared to what public safety personnel put themselves through on a daily basis and throughout their entire careers. Last year, I did the 8 WODS at my CrossFit Kitchener gym with my gym buddies dropping in throughout the weekend to workout with me for moral support.
