1st Annual TPSA Strong – Run for the Responders Virtual 5K
Get ready to lace up and give back!
Join us for TPSA Strong: Run for the Responders Virtual 5K, taking place August 29th through September 2nd, 2025. This statewide virtual event invites TPSA members, their families, and friends across Texas to walk, jog, or run 5 kilometers, on their own time and from any location, to support a vital cause.
85% of the proceeds (minus a small processing fee) will go directly to the Divide Volunteer Fire Department in Mountain Home, Texas(https://www.facebook.com/p/Divide-Volunteer-Fire-Department-100057562715693/) which was impacted by the recent floods in Kerr County and has been working extremely hard to give back to their community in this time of need. The other 15% of the proceeds will be used to organize and operate this event. By participating, you will demonstrate leadership through service and directly support first responders in need.

How It Works:
Register online for $13 ($16.09 with processing fee and tax)
Complete your 5K anytime between August 29–September 2, 2025
Track your run or walk using a fitness app such as Strava or Nike Run Club
Submit your results (more information on how to submit will be released closer to race day)
Receive your digital certificate, sticker pack, and medal in the mail after the end of the event. Be sure to sign up with an address you can receive your prize with. If you need to use another please email the event organizer.
Your contribution helps ensure local responders are equipped and supported when disaster strikes.
Friends and family are welcome and encouraged to participate alongside TPSA members.
