My Story…
I served in the Canadian Armed Forces, both Reserve and Regular, from 1972-1982 when I was medically released. In the Reserve I served with 11th (Hamilton-Wentworth) Field Battery, 11th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery from 1972-1975. In 1975 I transferred to the Regular Force and in 1976 joined Second Regiment, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery until 1980. In 1980 I was posted to W Battery, Royal Canadian Artillery School until my medical release in 1982.
Since joining Soldier On in 2018 I have been flown to Winnipeg to run the 10K at the RCAF Run, participated in the 5-day Ontario Paddling Camp, had an opportunity to play Pickleball and try on-water rowing, and created a stained-glass ornament.
Now it is time to give back. I need your help, please. Soldier On is a vital component of wounded, injured, and sick veterans' and serving members' recoveries, and their adaptation to their new reality.
