RUN FOR PALESTINE – FORT MCMURRAY | 3RD ANNUAL RUN
📍 Birchwood Trails – Tamarack Way, Fort McMurray, AB T9K 1A1 (near Doug Barnes Cabin)

Since 2009, Run for Palestine has brought communities together across Canada, raising over $700,000 for vital humanitarian relief in Gaza, the West Bank, and refugee camps.

Now in its third year, Fort McMurray joins the movement once again, uniting for a day of purpose, fun, and community.

🌲 ABOUT THE VENUE
Nestled in the heart of Fort McMurray, Birchwood Trails offers a scenic escape of forest-lined paths and gentle terrain—perfect for a family-friendly walk or invigorating run. The event will be centered near Doug Barnes Cabin, a cozy local landmark surrounded by lush greenery and open space.

EVENT SCHEDULE — SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13:

10:00 AM – Registration Opens
10:30 AM – Opening Ceremony
11:00 AM – Races Begin
12:30 PM – Closing Ceremony

RACE CATEGORIES:

• 🏃‍♂️ 3 KM Run (Ages 7–10)

• 🏃‍♀️ 3 KM Run (Ages 11–14)

• 🏃‍♂️ 4 KM Run (Ages 15+)

• 🚶‍♀️ 3 KM Walk (All Ages & Abilities)
