The Saskatoon Road Runners go off-road to present the Blackstrap Trail Race. Nestled along the forested valley walls below the majestic Mount Blackstrap is a set of challenging trails. Featuring a combination of wider cross-country ski trails and single track, the event offers 5 (ish) and 10 (ish) kilometer events.

This is green, no frills event. There are neither T-shirts nor medals offered. Registration numbers are capped and registration will close if cap is met. Entry fee is $15.00 per runner (plus taxes and Race Roster administration fee). No refunds. Saskatoon Road Runner Association members receive a $5.00 discount. Come run for the enjoyment of running the trails at Blackstrap with your fellow runners.

Gift certificates will be awarded to the winners in each age class. (Under 20, Open, and Masters in 5 year age groupings (35-39, 40-44, 45-49, etc.)

Directions:

Blackstrap Provincial Park is located approximately 50 km south of Saskatoon. From Saskatoon follow Highway 11 south to the town of Dundurn. At Dundurn turn east (left) onto Highway 211. Follow this road to Blackstrap Lake. After crossing the causeway at Blackstrap turn south (right) to the entrance kiosk at Blackstrap Provincial Park. From the entrance kiosk follow the road 2 km to the trailhead parking lot. (It’s the first left after the kiosk).
