Make a Direct Donation to Shelter Health Services
Health issues can cause and prolong homelessness and become a barrier to self-sufficiency, education and upward mobility. The Shelter Health Services Clinic, located at the Salvation Army Center of Hope Shelter, provides free healthcare and medical services to the uninsured, homeless women and children who live there.
Make a Direct Donation to St. Hermione Home
St Hermione Home (SHH) is a 501c3 tax exempt entity that weekly provides free orthopedic medical care, food, clothing, as well as Bible Studies and prayer groups in the inner-city of Charlotte , NC. Soon, it will open a residence for homeless pregnant women. In addition to a safe and supportive living environment, a two year community college education as well as spiritual support will be offered to each resident. Emphasis will be placed on nurturing the mother and child bond, the prevention of generational trauma, and the development of self-sufficiency thereby enabling leaving homelessness.
