The Territory's first 24hr Backyard Ultra, held at the Yellowknife Ski Club.

The course is a 6.7km loop that begins at the start of every hour, needs to be completed in under an hour, and participants must be lined up to begin the next lap when the next hour begins. A horn/bell/cowbell/whistle will mark the start of a fresh hour and lap. All runners must be in the starting coral when the next lap begins. The race continues until there is only one person left, who has completed the last lap alone, or 24hr has expired.
For example: if at hour 20, 2 people complete the lap successfully, and at the start of hour 21, one participants drops out but the other begins the lap, that participant must complete the entirety of the lap, or they will also be considered a DNF. If that participant completes the lap in under an hour, they will be the last person standing.
The first lap will start at 8AM sharp on Sept 27th 2025.

Registration will be capped at 100 participants.

Rules:
-No outside assistance, except from any crew at the starting area, and only after you've completed your last loop and before the next loop.
-No spectators or other people on the course, except at starting area

What's Included:
Registration includes: onsite snacks, food and beverages, access to ski club facilities and chalet (luxury bathrooms! a place to set up a camping mat or lay out your race supplies), a DNF medal/token for everyone, and a race t-shirt (Will be ready for all participants for race day!)
