Hi everyone! As you may already be aware, my husband, Roger, was diagnosed on Oct 8, 2025 with stage 4 pancreatic cancer at the young age of 46. In this short amount of time since, we have received a tremendous amount of love and support from so many! Yet, there are many others out there fighting the fight that also need help too! 

Gabs and I will be participating in this event and are hoping to raise money to donate to Project Purple, an organization that assists fellow pancreatic cancer warriors and their families with a variety of resources! They were eager to help us and now we are eager to return the favor! We plan on beginning the walk (cause let’s face it, I don’t run lol) the day after Thanksgiving. Not only to shed off the pounds of a delicious meal, but to walk and meditate on the many prayers of Thanks we have in our hearts for the blessings we have received. We are hoping and praying Rog is strong enough to join in on the walk as well!

We will love for you to join our team entitled “Roger that”. Please make sure you register online here. Kickoff will be 11am starting on Friday, Nov 28th at Chargers Field, located on Prindle Ave, Ansonia, CT. If you are unable to physically join, please consider donating to our team’s fundraiser page! 

ALL FUNDS AND DONATIONS GO DIRECTLY TO THE PROJECT PURPLE ORGANIZATION. 

 If you live too far, that’s ok too! You can still join our team, as this is a virtual event that can take place ANYWHERE! Please don’t forget to send some pics if are able to participate!
