5K Course (USATF certified - AL22040JE): The 5K walk/run will begin at Guntersville's Civitan Park, travel northeast along Sunset Drive/LB Wallace Drive and return to the Civitan Park by way of newly renovated downtown Guntersville. The course is mostly flat with a couple of slight inclines and runs adjacent to beautiful Lake Guntersville. Aid stations will be located at the halfway point.
Awards will be given in the 5K race for the Top 3 Overall male and female finishers, Masters, Grandmasters and in the following categories:

- 15 - 19
- 20 - 24
- 25 - 29
- 30 - 34
- 35 - 39
- 40 - 44
- 45 - 49
- 50 - 54
- 55 - 59
- 60 - 64
- 65 - 69
- 70 - 74
- 75 & up
The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at the 5K start, run to LB Wallace Drive and back. It is not timed, but the first three male and female finishers under 12 years old will receive an award.
