Mission

The GW Healing Clinic is the umbrella organization for several clinical volunteer sites in the D.C. and Maryland area that are run by the students of the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. We provide primary care to medically underserved patients of Prince George’s County at our Bridge to Care clinic, located at 5936 Martin Luther King Jr., Hwy Seat Pleasant MD, 20743, provide affirming, low-barrier services to queer patients through our partnership with Whitman-Walker Health, while creating opportunities for students to lead and advocate.


Bridge to Care

The Bridge to Care Clinic is a student-run, free clinic providing high-quality primary care to uninsured and underinsured individuals, operating one evening per week. It serves as a gateway to formal healthcare systems through coordinated referrals and partnerships. Committed to equitable care, we offer all our services and diagnostic testing at no cost. 


Queer Health Collective

QHC is a student-led initiative dedicated to advancing affirming, accessible care for queer and gender-diverse communities. In partnership with Whitman-Walker Health and the GW Healing Clinic, we combine clinical service, advocacy, education, and community engagement to foster health equity. Join us in shaping a more inclusive future for healthcare.
