The forecast calls for a sunny day with a high of 18C -- perfect for locomotion!
LOCATION
The PICNIC SHELTER on the Warkworth Fairgrounds is our hub. Please dress for the elements as we’re all outdoors.
The closest address is the Percy Arena -- 24 East Street, Warkworth, K0K 3K0. Lots of parking in the Arena lot.

WATER
New this year – to reduce plastic, we’ll have large dispensing bottles at the start/finish. Please use your own bottles or our paper cups. Water bowls provided for doggies.
Water station for 5K & 10K participants is located at the Norham turnaround.
WALKING IN MEMORY
Our grief support volunteers will have badges and markers on hand for those running or walking in memory of someone special.
WASHROOMS
Washrooms are available in the white concession building next to the picnic shelter, and inside the Arena.
10K, 5K & 2.5K STARTLINE
Everyone lines up together – walkers, line up BEHIND the runners. Everyone starts on the same path that spills onto Main St. by the Millenium Trail. 10K & 5K participants will head up Main toward Norham. 2.5K strollers, turn left and enter the Millennium Trail.
ETIQUETTE
Runners will be passing walkers, especially on the Millennium Trail. Walkers, please stay to the right to allow faster-paced folks to pass. Please keep dogs leashed at all times. Poop bags provided at the picnic shelter. Thank you!
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
St. John’s Ambulance will set up in the parking lot.
ROUTE INFO
5K & 10K* RUN, WALK & WAG ROUTE:
- Start & finish at picnic shelter on Warkworth Fairgrounds.
- Follow gravel path on Fairgrounds, past Arena, down to where it spills out onto Main St. (next to Millennium Trail entrance).
- Turn left onto Main, continue past Concession Rd, head uphill to Dudley Rd.
- Turn left onto Dudley Rd. and follow gravel road (becomes paved as you enter village of Norham).
- Continue on Dudley to turnaround at Norham Rd – by water station.
- Head back the way you came on Dudley Rd – then turn right onto Norham Rd/Main St to return to Warkworth.
- Turn right from Main St. and through the Millennium Trail main entrance.
- Follow Trail all the way to the end, past Gazebo, stay on Trail as it loops back to Gazebo.
- At Gazebo, follow arrows/marshall to your right, onto grass path as you head home across playing fields to finish line. Applause!
*10K runners – cross finish line and keep going for another loop!
2.5K STROLL ROUTE:
- Start & finish at picnic shelter.
- Follow runners to Main St., then turn left into Millennium Trail entrance.
- Follow Trail past Gazebo, stay on Trail as it loops back to Gazebo.
- At Gazebo, follow arrows/marshall to your right, onto grass as you head home across playing fields to finish line. Take a bow!
