Volunteer for Santa Hamilton
Volunteer at the 2025 Santa Hamilton 5k and 10k!
If you would like to volunteer for this year's race please fill out the volunteer registration form and someone from our team will be in touch with you a few weeks before the race. If you have any questions in the meantime, please email amitoz@vrpro.ca
Volunteers will be assigned based on where we need people the most. Please indicate your preferences when signing up. We will do our best to match you to your preferred role, however, adjustments may need to be made so that we can fill all required positions.
Race Date: Saturday, November 29, 2025
Location: Hess Village, Near Radius, Hamilton
Volunteer Timing: 7:30 AM to 10 AM
Course Marshal (Outside along the race route)
Course marshals play an extremely important role during the race by helping to direct participants along the route. You can also cheer the runners on as they pass by. All course marshals will be transported to their location and picked up from their location.
Water Stations (Outside along the race route)
Most water stations are staffed by organized groups, but we do need a few extra volunteers to support some of these locations. Water station volunteers will be handing out water to the runners along the race route. There will be 2 water stations along the route.
Finish Line Volunteers (Outside near start/finish line)
Finish line volunteers will assist with the following roles as needed at the finish line
- Handing out medals to the runners
- Handing out fruit and water to the runners
- Helping at the waste sorting station
