Raise money for The Kids' Cancer Project
You can raise lifesaving funds for The Kids’ Cancer Project
The Kids’ Cancer Project are the official charity partners of Bondi to Bronte, and since 2013, incredible swimmers like you have raised over $363,000 to support vital kids’ cancer research.
The mission of The Kids’ Cancer Project is to provide scientists with the funding they need to make discoveries, translate pioneering research, advance treatments and build support programs that will improve survival rates for all young people with cancer and allow them to thrive after treatment.
By choosing to fundraise as part of your swim, you can help to achieve the charity’s vision of seeing 100% of children, adolescents and young adults survive cancer and live with no long-term health implications caused by their treatment. Here are some examples of what your donations could achieve:
$50 - Helps fund a research assistant for one hour to work towards finding a cure for paediatric cancer
$500 - Funds the cost for genetic analysis of one sample to study late effects on cancer survivors
$1,000 Covers one clinical trial consultation or expert review for a patient, providing access to specialised knowledge to improve treatment outcomes
Together, we can create opportunities for science to help kids survive and thrive by accelerating funding for life-saving childhood cancer research.
