My Story…
Liam’s swimming at Bondi beach for The Kids Cancer Project. His mission is to swim and complete the 1km ocean swim. Last year Liam swam in memory of his grandfather who passed away two days before his swim. This year he is motivated to swim again and raise as much money as he can for young kids who are experiencing cancer. Times are tough right now so even a $1 donation will add up if this is seen by enough people. Liam has just turned 12, we are so proud of his determination and courage to do this and his kindness for other kids.
Description
I’m diving into the Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim to support The Kids’ Cancer Project and their mission for a 100% survival rate for all children diagnosed with cancer.
Since The Kids’ Cancer Project was founded in 1993, the survival rate for kids’ cancers has risen from 58% to 86%. That’s no accident - it’s thanks to amazing people like you who have donated to support lifesaving research.
But we can’t take our foot off the gas. Three kids still die from cancer in Australia every week, and the only way to change that is by continuing to fund research now.
Every stroke I swim and every dollar you give helps kids with cancer survive and thrive. Please donate today so we can find kinder, more effective treatments for all kids with cancer.
