Beyond a Mammogram: Hyde Park Run

Baby Joggers, strollers, bicycles, in-line skates, roller skates, scooters, other wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs and hand cranks used by disabled participants) and pets are not allowed in the race. In addition, participants with service dogs are required to start in the rear of the race, regardless of expected pace. Individuals using wheelchairs or hand cranks will have a separate start, prior to runners.

IF LIGHTNING/THUNDER IS PRESENT, OR OTHER CONDITIONS DEEMED DANGEROUS BY RACE PERSONNEL, THE RACE MAY NOT PROCEED. The race may proceed once the danger of lightning and/or dangerous conditions have clearly passed. The decision of whether to cancel the race (because of dangerous weather/environmental conditions have persisted over a period of time or information learned from the weather service) will be made by race personnel. There will be no refunds offered for any reason.

Onsite registration will take place on race day (9-13-2025) from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM at 52nd & Hyde Park Blvd. The 5K race will begin promptly at 9:00 AM (the kids dash will be after the 5K).

Race packets will be given out on at the 5K event at the registration table; information about the race can be found on our website. The course cut-off time is 2 hours.

Race fees range from $35-$45 (depending on when you register). If you register after 8/1/2025 a t-shirt is not guaranteed. We may charge an additional fee of up to $15 if participants register after this date and request t-shirts.
The following are the 5K race award categories:
· Top male and female finishers overall.
· The first three finishers in each age group.
The overall top three winners (per gender) and the age group winners are based off gun-time (or bull-horn start). Race is chip timed.
Age groups are as follows: Male and female – 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40- 44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 and over.
For the purpose of determining age group awards, overall winners are removed from the results and do not receive age group awards. Runners must be present during distribution to receive awards.
