ASICS Move Her Mind Shakeout Run!

Join us as we celebrate the completion of the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon Women's Training Program powered by ASICS with the ASICS Move Her Mind Shakeout Run on Saturday, October 18th at 9:00 AM, starting at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.

We’ll have a relaxed 3 or 5 km "out-and-back" options to shake off pre-race nerves, with pacing between 6:30 min/km and 11:00 min/km. Feel free to turn back at any point. After the run, enjoy snacks and goodies from Canadian women-owned businesses, courtesy of ASICS.

Why This Matters:

ASICS’ global research shows that when women move, they feel better, yet over half stop exercising due to various barriers. This Shakeout Run is a celebration of your dedication, aiming to inspire and encourage more women to keep moving, no matter the challenges. Even small steps, like joining a local running group or supporting female athletes, can help break down barriers to exercise.

Event Details:

We will do an out and back route from the Enercare Centre along the Martin Goodman Trail.

Date & Time: Saturday, October 18th, 9:00 AM
Location: Enercare Centre, Toronto

Pace: Very conversational (6:30 min/km to 11 min/km) NO Faster.

Event Notes:

· Meet at 8:45am. The run begins at 9:00am sharp.

· Make sure to learn the route! We'll do our best to have pace leaders, but it's up to you not to get lost!

· The run starts/finishes at Enercare Centre (100 Princes' Blvd #1). Meet at Hall A to drop your bags & get ready for the run.

· There will be washrooms available inside the Enercare Centre.

· You can leave a bag inside Hall A at the Expo, but please note that the bags will be secured during the run and staff won't be back to open up until 9:30am. So don't leave anything if you need it before then.

· We start with a brief intro, answer any initial questions, talk through the route, and get the show on the road.
