Countdown to event

The annual Wild Earth Resolution Run is back and we can't wait to celebrate with you! Time was when people thought a run one New Years Eve was a ludicrous idea' now it's the place to be. Last year we had a record 920 entries; can we find more than 1000 crazy souls to celebrate with us?!

We are still based at Carrara/Emerald Lakes but had a successful shift across the road to Alabaster Fields right next door to our previous venue at Emerald Lakes Golf Club last year and we are staying put! We return with a range of race distances so everyone can be involved!!

Two junior events, a longer race (2.5km); the Essential Energy Solar Dash, which will include something for the competitive kids with prizes for overall placegetters and for age group winners. Our shorter race; the Emerald Lakes Golf Club Junior Bolt, will retain its focus on pure fun and participation. All participants, in both events, get the same choice of inclusions, there's just a little more for the fast and focussed kids to vie for!

The 'mygc physio' 4km and 'Run Resilience' Pram Push return, as do the longer races; the 'fisiocrem' event now set at 9km whilst the 'Run the World' event is 13km around the tranquil Emerald Lakes.

For 2025, we are offering every participant a choice of inclusions;
Option 1: a personalised and custom beach towel! Enter early enough and you can have your own name or nickname (and the race distance logo that you run in) on the towel; with three (3) designs to choose from. Leave it too long and you still have the three designs to choose from but with a generic 'Resolution Run' layout!

Option 2: Event medal AND run cap (choice of pink or blue designs).
Our medal designs continue to evolve and our mock-up won't do it justice - but they are EPIC and if bling is your thing - well you won't be disappointed!
The hat comes in two designs and will be perfect for the summer ahead!

Best part - if you can't decide - you can have it ALL for just an extra $22.50! Simply opt-in for all options and you can take home the hat, the medal AND the towel!!

Of course, it's not New Years Eve without fireworks so the FREE Wild Earth Community Carnival is back with jumping castles, Gecko Sports and other free kids activities thanks to Cr Bob La Castra, Gold Coast City Council and it's Active & Healthy program our family-friendly 7.30pm fireworks display.

There will be food trucks aplenty, live music and our pop up bar (no BYO). And with the wide-open spaces of Alabaster Fields, you will be able to bring down the picnic blankets and camp chairs, spread out and relax and park right next to our new event precinct!

So join us for the 2025 Wild Earth Resolution Run and sign off on this year in a fun, active and healthy way amongst friends and family!

Venue

The entire event shall be conducted at the Alabaster Fields (East), immediately across the road from our supporting partners (and previous hosts); Emerald Lakes Golf Club on the Corner of Alabaster Drive and Broadbeach/Nerang Road.

There will be event specific off-street parking located off Alabaster Drive (opposite to Metricon Stadium). This is the parking for the event and has capacity for over 500 vehicles. Parking here is via a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to our charity; Rotary Ashmore. Additional street parking is available at Gold Coast Sports precinct and participants can cross safely at the lights at Alabaster Drive.

Parking in the Golf Club itself is reserved for Club patrons, we do ask that event patrons take advantage of the parking provided immediately adjacent to the venue.

This will be our second year at this venue and we look forward to welcoming even more participants to the Resolution Run and members of the local community to the Wild Earth Community Carnival and delivering our biggest and best event yet!

Event village

Please feel free to bring camp chairs, bean bags, picnic rugs and shade etc. so you can enjoy the festivities provided to help celebrate a great event and an exciting year ahead. If you’re with a club and have a marquee, please email us and we will allocate space for you along the finish line!

Recovery zone

Take advantage of the free drink provided by our event partner; Mountain Goat Beer, and for the kids; a Zooper Dooper courtesy of Wild Earth and Trail Trips & Events after you finish your run! Simply present you tear-off tab from your race bib!

We will also have iced water and FIXX Nutrition’s FUEL X electrolyte available for FREE!

Our good friends fisiocrem will be on hand providing some FREE post-race massages too, so our runners can loosen up after their efforts out on course!

Wild Earth Community Carnival

The running isn’t necessary; it’s just another aspect of this fantastic community celebration of New Year’s Eve. There’ll be jumping castles, giant games, live music, entertainment and activities for the kids - and of course fireworks! There’s food trucks to feed the masses and a bar with soft drinks and water for the kids, and some of the finer drops for the adults!

Pack your camp chairs and picnic blankets and settle in for a great evening. Entry is free with thanks to our fantastic partners including Wild Earth, Cr. Bob La Castra, Emerald Lakes Golf Club and we as your hosts of course, Trail Trips & Events!
