Ivory Coast Abidjan Marathon

Ivory Coast Abidjan Marathon 11/8/2025

The Abidjan Ivory Coast Marathon will be held on 11/8/2025. This race will give runner opportunity to walk / run (no time limit), covering 4 countries if decide to run all in short time with time in-between for sightseeing and rest. It is also practical since the airfares are resendable and short travel time between counties. It is ideal for those runners traveling on limited budget. We do our research to come up with best options for hotels near safest course to run and to accommodate all budgets.

This low-key event requires participants to run using GPS devices and submitting their times upon completing the 42.195 km (26.2 miles). Course detail, race start time TBD.

The host hotel for the race will be near airport Abidjan (ABJ),Radisson Blu Hotel, Abidjan Airport. there are other accommodations in the area if you chose to stay someplace else. The course details are subject to change once we arrive and physically measure and evaluate the area. The entry fee is covers a medal and overhead. This is a self support race, which means you will have to bring your own drinks and nutrition to keep you hydrated during the race. Donations will be accepted in cash to keep these small friendly races going.

The runners have the opportunity to fly to Dakar Senegal (DSS) direct flight from Abidjan (ABJ) the next day after 11/9/2025 for the next event in Senegal.
