1st OA Champions’ Run - Race Mechanics
The 1st OA Champions’ Run is open to all running enthusiasts and OA advocates! Join the fun and get ready for a meaningful and enriching experience!
AGE REQUIREMENTS
- 6K Category: Open to participants aged 16 years old and above.
 - 1K and 3K Categories: Open to participants aged 13 years old and above.
 - Children 12 years old and below may join the 1K or 3K provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
 
Note: All participants under 18 years old must have a signed parental or guardian consent.

*Fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be deferred.
*Processing and web admin fees are not included.
RACE KIT COLLECTION
Stay tuned to our official social media pages for kit claiming dates and venues. Instructions for ID verification will also be shared to ensure a smooth claiming process.
Race Kit Includes:
- Race Number/Bib
 - Official Event Singlet
 - Drawstring Bag
 
RACE NUMBER GUIDELINES
- Wear your bib visibly on the front throughout the race.
 - Lost numbers require re-registration.
 - Bibs are non-transferable. Selling or using someone else’s number results in disqualification and future bans.
 
TIMING & RESULTS
- The top 3 finishers’ per category official time is recorded at the finish line based on the digital timer’s time.
 - Top finisher rankings will be determined by gun time (from the starting horn).
 
START & FINISH POINTS
- Route maps and start/finish locations will be released soon.
 - Arrive early at your assigned assembly area.
 - Climbing over barricades or entering improperly may lead to disqualification.
 - Participants who start 15 minutes past their gun time will not be allowed to run.
 - The race course will close after the official cut-off time for each category.
 - Collect your Finisher’s Medal, upon finishing the run.
 
ROUTE INFORMATION
- The course follows Catch 21 standards with proper hydration, medical stations, and restrooms.
 - Stay within designated paths—going off-course may lead to disqualification.
 - Unofficial pacers or outside assistance is strictly prohibited.
 
HYDRATION STATIONS
- Water and sports drink stations will be available alon the route.
 - Please dispose of trash responsibly in provided bins. No littering.
 
MEDICAL SUPPORT
- Medical teams will be stationed at the start/finish, and assigned location along the route.
 - Look for personnel in clearly marked medical vests or go to medical tents if needed.
 - Use your mobile phones or seek help immediately if you or another runner needs assistance.
 
AWARDS & PRIZES
- The Top 3 finishers in each category will be awarded on-stage recognition and medals.
 - Additional awards (e.g., costume awards, group awards) may be announced later.
 - Winners must be present during the awards ceremony to claim prizes.
 
POST-RACE ACTIVITIES
- Enjoy exciting post-race entertainment and sponsor booths at the OA Marketplace.
 
CODE OF CONDUCT
- Respect fellow runners, volunteers, and staff.
 - Unsportsmanlike behavior, offensive language, or harassment will lead to disqualification.
 
Protests:
- Must be submitted in writing (on-site or via team@catch21.net) within one hour of result posting.
 - A ₱5,000 non-refundable fee applies. Verbal protests will not be accepted.
 
PHOTOS & MEDIA
By joining the race, you grant consent for the use of your image by official race photographers and videographers for marketing and promotional purposes.
SAFETY & PROHIBITED ITEMS
Follow all instructions from event staff. The following are not allowed:
- Weapons, sharp objects
 - Explosives, fireworks, flammable items
 - Large bags, coolers, tents
 - Strollers, unofficial drones
 - Costumes that cover the face or extend beyond body size
 
RULE CHANGES
CATCH 21 reserves the right to modify event details, rules, and regulations without prior notice, including postponement or cancellation due to weather or safety concerns. Participants are responsible for staying updated and following all race guidelines.
