Second Annual CrossFit Anaheim Turkey Trot Returns to Angel Stadium
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Second Annual CrossFit Anaheim Turkey Trot at Angel Stadium is officially returning, promising an even bigger and bolder challenge for the post-holiday weekend!
A Turkey Trot with a Twist
Forget the ordinary road race! Our WODsgiving Turkey Trot is a unique fitness event that combines a 5K race with five integrated CrossFit movement stations.
Racers will now have the option to run in 1 of 3 divisions: an Individual, a Pair (2), or a “Flock” (3-5 racers).
The New Race Format: Run, WOD, and Repeat.
Forget the usual mass start! We're kicking off the Second Annual CrossFit Anaheim Turkey Trot with wave starts to create a high-energy, focused experience. Athletes and teams will begin in waves of 10–15 racers, starting their challenge with their first lap running the perimeter of the iconic Angel Stadium Parking Lot. Upon returning, they'll tackle their first of five integrated CrossFit movement stations, featuring demanding exercises like rowing, burpees, and box step-ups.
For Pairs and Flocks (Teams 3-5), the course is completed in a tag in/out format. One racer out of the group will start the run and complete the first workout station before tagging their partner or teammate. The tagged partner will then complete the next lap and workout station, continuing until all five laps and five stations are complete. Get ready for the ultimate fitness challenge: RUN, WOD, RUN, WOD, RUN, WOD, RUN, WOD, RUN, WOD, FINISH WITH THE RUN...AND TIME!
Making a Meaningful Impact: Local Heroes for Families in Need
Our mission goes far beyond fitness; it’s about community impact. The ultimate goal of the WODsgiving Turkey Trot is to create 'local heroes' to fundraise for their chosen family in need. This year, in conjunction with our 501(c)(3) partner, DTSA Feel Good Events, we are proudly directing our support to the families of students at Anaheim High School and South Junior High School.
We aim to help 200+ Anaheim families, with a total fundraising goal of over $50,000 for direct financial support. Every entry fee helps us make a tangible difference by pairing a runner with a family to help fulfill their holiday wishes.

Team of 2: Same or Mixed Gender ***NOTE: Entire Race will be split between all members of the team. Stations cannot be repeated by a racer once it is completed (e.g. Partner 1 completes 1K run and 1 workout station, then tags out to Partner 2 to complete 2nd lap and 2nd workout station. This continues until all 5 stations are completed between racers, one racer working/running at a time).
