Whether you're a seasoned speedster or just keen to try something new, Saturday Orienteering Series is calling.
📍 This week’s mission: Pymble Ladies' College
Get ready to navigate manicured gardens, heritage buildings, and winding pathways that’ll stretch your brain and your legs. It's such a great map that we are making it the Bold Horizons Sprint Champs. The usual great courses, but a title and glory to aim for too! Social relays will also be offered.
👟 How you roll is up to you:
- Go solo and chase that perfect clean run
- Team up with your crew
- Or bring the fam for a relaxed group adventure.
Each week will also feature social relays. Four courses for either two or four runners. Courses are short (max 800m) and the focus is fun. The relay start will be at 11am. It's all included in the one entry price and the extra run is totally optional (but recommended with chocolates for each week's champs).

We’ve got maps, beginner-friendly courses, and free tips to get you started. Just rock up in comfy activewear and bring your curiosity. That’s it.

Parking - There will be no parking for orienteers on site and surrounding streets could be busy. We recommend catching the train to Pymble and strolling through the beautiful grounds to the event meeting point.
Start Window: 9:30am to 11am (start any time within this window)
Courses: Individual courses and informal options (where you can participate as a group) are available. Individual championship course leaders will be recognised as the Bold Horizons Sprint Champions.
SPORTident timing is used for all courses. If you do not own a SPORTident card, please hire one.
Normal entry fees (a small late fee applies if entering after midday on Thursday before the event):
Adults - $18 (members -15%)
School Students - $15 (members -15%)
Timing card hire - $4 ph
Prices include GST and merchant fees.
The student discount will automatically be applied.
Orienteering club members can also claim an additional discount through the use of the promo code "ONSW".

Primary School Sprint Championships

Race for glory in the Bold Horizons Sprint Champs. A maximum of 2km and challenging but achievable navigation for our youngest orienteers.

Get ready to tackle about 2-4 km. Entrants will be split into Year 7/8, Year 9/10 and Year 11/12 classes as well as by gender. If you’re up for pushing yourself and testing out your skills, this one's for you! 🏃♂️🔥

Bold Horizons Open Sprint Championships

Courses will range between 2 and 4 km. Entrants will be split into age classes (under 40 years, 40 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79 and 80+) as well as by gender. If you’re up for pushing yourself and testing out your skills, this one's for you! 🏃♂️🔥

Quest rookies and Groups (non-Championship class)

If you would like a helper on course or just want to have a ramble with friends then this is the course for you. There's still challenge and exploration but you can tackle it with friends. This is a non-Championship course and will be around 2km long. Bring comfy shoes and a taste for adventure!

Group member

Bring some mates or the fam! Friends or family are welcome to accompany entrants on the Rookies and Groups or Score course for free. Whilst there's no charge, please register group members individually so that we know who's coming. Group members do not need to hire a SPORTident card and do not receive an individual race map and course time. If group members would like their own map and result, enter a course and pay an entry fee (and still run together if you want).
