Whether you're a seasoned speedster or just keen to try something new, Saturday Orienteering Series is calling.
📍 This week’s mission: Ryde Secondary College is your playground for a morning of fast-paced fun! Get ready to zigzag through a maze of hallways and hidden corners—this school’s layout is full of surprises. Quick thinking and sharp eyes will help you stay ahead, but don’t worry—it’s all part of the adventure!
There's a title and glory to aim for too as the event will be the Bold Horizons Sprint Orienteering Championships!
Social relays will also be offered. Presentations will be after the relays at approximately 11:30am.

👟 How you roll is up to you:
- Go solo and chase that perfect clean run
- Team up with your crew
- Or bring the fam for a relaxed group adventure.
The event will also feature social relays. Four courses for either two or four runners. Courses are short (max 800m) and the focus is fun. The relay start will be at 11am. It's all included in the one entry price and the extra run is totally optional (but recommended with chocolates for each week's champs).

Start Window: 9:30am to 11am (start any time within this window)
Courses: Individual courses and informal options (where you can participate as a group) are available. Individual championship course leaders will be recognised as the Bold Horizons Sprint Champions.
SPORTident timing is used for all courses. If you do not own a SPORTident card, please hire one.
Normal entry fees (a small late fee applies if entering after midday on Thursday before the event):
Adults - $18 (members -15%)
School Students - $15 (members -15%)
Timing card hire - $4 ph
Prices include GST and merchant fees.
The student discount will automatically be applied.
Orienteering club members can also claim an additional discount through the use of the promo code "ONSW".

Get ready to tackle about 2-4 km. Entrants will be split into Year 7/8, Year 9/10 and Year 11/12 classes as well as by gender. If you’re up for pushing yourself and testing out your skills, this one's for you! 🏃♂️🔥

Courses will range between 2 and 4 km. Entrants will be split into age classes (under 40 years, 40 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79 and 80+) as well as by gender. If you’re up for pushing yourself and testing out your skills, this one's for you! 🏃♂️🔥

Quest rookies and Groups (non-Championship line course) Closed

If you would like a helper on course or just want tackle a line course with friends then this is the course for you. There's still challenge and exploration but you can tackle it with friends. This is a non-Championship course and will be around 2km long. Bring comfy shoes and a taste for adventure!

Bring some mates or the fam! Friends or family are welcome to accompany entrants on the Rookies and Groups or Score course for free. Whilst there's no charge, please register group members individually so that we know who's coming. Group members do not need to hire a SPORTident card and do not receive an individual race map and course time. If group members would like their own map and result, enter a course and pay an entry fee (and still run together if you want).
