Whether you're a seasoned speedster or just keen to try something new, Saturday Orienteering Series is calling.
📍 This week’s mission: Northern Beaches Christian School
Get ready to weave through an intricate maze of buildings and passage ways that’ll stretch your brain and your legs. In addition to our usual courses, this event will feature the Bold Horizons Relay Champs. Organise a team and aim high!
For this week only, Relays will start at 9:45am. Complete your relay run first and then head out on individual courses afterwards. Both relay and individual runs are included in the one entry price. The relays are for teams of 2 to 4 runners and comprise four consecutive runs of no more than 800m distance for each course.
Relay classes are:
- Primary School
- Secondary School Junior Boys and Girls classes (all team members must be under 15 years of age)
- Secondary School Senior Boys and Girls classes
- Mixed Open A (all teams must include at least one female and have a minimum average age of 25 years)
- Mixed Open B (all teams must include at least one female and have a minimum average age of 50 years)
- Mixed Open C (all teams must include at least one female and have a minimum average age of 70 years).
Ages are as at 31/12/25.
Relay teams can be formed and entered on the day but all runners must have registered for a non-relay course.

- Or bring the fam for a relaxed group adventure.

We’ve got maps, beginner-friendly courses, and free tips to get you started. Just rock up in comfy activewear and bring your curiosity. That’s it.

SPORTident timing is used for all courses. If you do not own a SPORTident card, please hire one.
Normal entry fees (a small late fee applies if entering after midday on Thursday before the event):
Adults - $18 (members -15%)
School Students - $15 (members -15%)
Timing card hire - $4 ph
Prices include GST and merchant fees.
The student discount will automatically be applied.
Orienteering club members can also claim an additional discount through the use of the promo code "ONSW".

This is a great starting point for newcomers with a maximum distance of 1km. Try this out and then graduate to something more challenging for no further charge on event day. Bring comfy shoes and a taste for adventure!

Bring some mates or the fam! Friends or family are welcome to accompany entrants on any course for free. Whilst there's no charge, please register group members individually so that we know who's coming. Group members do not need to hire a SPORTident card and do not receive an individual race map and course time. If group members would like their own map and result, enter a course and pay an entry fee (and still run together if you want).
