The Food Bank of Waterloo Region

The Food Bank of Waterloo Region is seeing the highest need for food assistance in our community in their almost 40-year history. That means more and more people in Waterloo region are struggling with the rising costs of food, rent, and gas, and have little leftover for things like holiday celebrations. 1 in 8 households in Waterloo region are accessing food support.

With support from community leaders like you, they can ensure that all residents have access to the food they need. The foods and funds donated through community fundraisers allow them to fill gaps in their inventory, buy food to meet diverse cultural and dietary needs, keep their delivery vehicles on the road, and support the Community Food Assistance Network, a system of more than 120 community programs and agency partners working together to provide food, support, and services for people in need across Waterloo region.
