A scenic Half marathon from Busselton Jetty to Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club along the coastal footpath. The aim is to FINISH at 9am - You must declare your fastest 1/2 marathon time in the last 3 years. Event organizer (Ben) will calculate your start time and email you before event starts.
Your start time will be based on a number of factors and will not be your previous PB time. Please be honest !
This is a training session run by Busselton Triathlon Club
If this is your first half marathon please put your expected time to complete 21.1 kms - your start time will be calculated
Extreme Sandbaggers will be thrown in the ocean on finishing.
The run is self supporting - there wil be an aid statioin with water at the 10km point. There are taps and toilets on the coastal path but a hydro-pack or water bottle is recommended.
This year we have added an 11.4km Option. If you choose the 11.4km please give your best expected 10km time and we wil calculate your start time. You will start at the corner of Forth st and Geographe Bay Road (at the Aid station) The aim is to finish at Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club at 9am.
Car sharing for the return trip is encouraged - Finish will be at the Dunsborough Yacht Club Car Park.
We reccomend leaving a car at the finish ( plenty of parking) Before you leave please ask if anyone would like a lift back to the Shelter - this community aproach has worked for 4 years - please help it to keep rolling
Cold water and snacks will be at the finish line
