We do not offer participant transfers or refunds under any circumstance.
You may defer the original 2025 registration fee to the 2026 race for a $30 fee. CS Marathon runners have the option to defer their 2025 registration to the 2026 marathon or half. Deferring an entry guarantees a spot in the 2026 marathon or half marathon by waiving participation in the 2025 marathon or half. The registration that you paid for this year's race then gets you into the 2026 race. You must register for the deferral no later than 5pm CT 11/17/2025.
IF YOU DEFERRED FROM 2024 TO THE 2025 RACE, YOU MAY NOT DEFER AGAIN.
If you register for a deferral, you will receive a promo code for a free entry to the 2026 CS Marathon or Half Marathon when we open the 2026 registration. It will be sent to you via email when we open 2026 registration. You will then need to register for the 2026 race using that code.
