All Runners will receive 2 reflective slap bands in their race pack.

PRIZES

1st Overall Male and Female will be awarded in each event.
Category Prizes - 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded along with spot prizes.

To receive these prizes, you have to be present at prize giving to receive both category and spot prizes.


LIMITED NUMBERS

The two Ultra Marathons are limited to 350 competitors at any time. This is due to our Department of Conservation (D0C) Concession for the event and we encourage you to get your entry in quickly to avoid disappointment.

This is the total number in the two events. We are not limited the numbers in each event as more may want to do the 101km against the 53km or vice versa.


ENTRY FEE INCLUDES

Your entry fee includes the run, nutrition throughout the run, t-shirt, finishers medal, timing of the event, medical personal on the course and an amazing experience and 360 degree views.


REFUNDS

For this event the following Policy applies for withdrawals and refunds by a competitor:

Up to 31 July 2024 - 60% Refund
Between 1 August and 30 August 2024 - 50% Refund
Between 1 September and 30 September 2024 - 40% Refund
Between 1 October and 31 October 2024 - 30% Refund
1 November 2024 onwards - No Refund


  • There will be no transfers to next year's event.
  • There will be no transfers to another competitor.
  • You will be able to transfer to a shorter distance up to 30th November 2024 with a $25 Administration Fee. There will be no partial refunds provided for the shorter distance
  • No bus tickets or merchandise are refundable.


Please do not ask after 1st November for refunds or transfers as the above Policy will be adhered to and it is always tough saying no to these request.

CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT

Should the event have to be cancelled due to Force Majure, Disease or Pandemic, there will be no refund of entry fees whether this is before or after any of the Refund or Transfer dates.

Competitors to have the option of purchasing a CJM'S Cancellation Insurance when entering the event. CJM’S Cancellation Insurance will refund your entry fee in case of cancellation of the event. This will cover the cancellation of the event for any reason including Force Majure, Disease or Pandemic.
When entering, if you wish to purchase CJM’S Cancellation Insurance, you do so in the Merchandise section. If the event was to be cancelled, the amount of your entry fee is the amount that would be refunded.

No Bus Tickets or Merchandise will be refunded.

  • CJM'S Events also offers Withdrawal Cover which can be purchased at the time of entry. This allows a competitor to withdraw from the event up to 7 Days before the event and they receive their entry fee back in full. This overrides the withdrawal and refunds above and gives competitors the sleep easy if they get injured or catch a virus like Covid up until the week before the Ultra.

Terms and Conditions:

  • I agree to abide by the Event Rules and with the directions of the officials and their personnel.
  • I will comply with all the directions given on the entry forms, emails, newsletters, confirmation letters, race pack information, pre-race safety briefings and course signage.
  • I agree to allow the organisers and sponsors to use photographs, video and film taken during the event to advertise their products or to promote the event at no cost to the organisers and sponsors. No photographs, video and film taken during the event can be used by any party for commercial purposes without prior written consent by CJM'S Events Ltd.
  • I understand that participation in this event is at my own risk and I accept full responsibility for obtaining adequate skills to negotiate and avoid the hazards on the course. Participants are required to obey New Zealand traffic law at all times while on public roads.
  • I understand that the Race Organisers may alter the advertised course, race briefing or start times for safety or other reasons.
  • I am fully responsible for my personal belongings at the event.
  • I am in sound physical condition and health, capable of safely competing in the event, and am not aware of any medical condition to the contrary by participating,
  • I accept all risks flowing from my participation that could result in loss of life or permanent injury or damage to property. Accordingly I release all persons or corporations associated directly or indirectly with the conduct of the event from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of my participation and I hereby indemnify them against all liability for all injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with any act or omission by me in the course of my participation in this event. This release shall extend to and include promoters, sponsors, the organisers of the event and their respective directors, partners, managers, officers, agents, contractors, employees and volunteers including medical and paramedical personnel appointed for the event, the owners, licensees and occupiers of land upon which the event or any part of it is conducted, any statutory body or local authority having control over any land upon which the event is conducted or which is directly or indirectly associated with the event in any manner whatsoever. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds my heirs, executors, personal representatives and assigns.

Prize giving:
Category prizes 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded along with spot prizes. To receive these prizes you have to be at prize giving to receive both spot and category prizes

If you choose not to provide personal information when requested, certain services or quality of services may not be available to you. Otherwise CJM'S Events Ltd will not allow third parties access to your information without your approval.
