Athletics for Kids Financial Assistance (BC) Society

Athletics for Kids (A4K) helps B.C. kids participate in sports by providing low-income families with financial assistance for registration fees. We are a small, nimble, BC-based charity founded in 2002 by 4 families who wanted to make a difference in kids’ lives. A4K’S overreaching goal is to be there to assist any B.C. child in their dream of playing amateur sports. Eligible children can apply up to $450 in Sport4Life grants per 12-month period through an eligible sports organization towards registration fees for over 55 different kinds of organized sports. Grants are provided directly to the sports organization which is then applied towards the athlete’s registration fees. Since 2002, A4K has fulfilled over 12,500 grants to kids in need to play amateur sports across the province of B.C.
