My Story…
As some of you may know, my father is continuing his battle with terminal cancer.
Because of this, I’ve decided to run the Vancouver Half Marathon in support of the BC Cancer Foundation. BC Cancer has been integral in supporting my family through both of my parents cancers, and they are constantly in need of more support as they provide care to 80,000 patients in BC.
If you know me, you know running is NOT my thing, but I want to push myself to do something challenging as I have watched my father push through pain and heartbreak and discomfort over and over again as he continues his battle.
I do not promise for this to be a fast half marathon, but I promise to run with all the love I have in my heart for those who have supported me and my family throughout this experience. <3
