Course Map - Canterbury A&P Park
Half Marathon - 21km
The Half Marathon route starts at the Canterbury A&P Park Christchurch. You will spread out around the park before making your way to the Christchurch Motorway Pathways.
Once through the Underpass and on the pathways the run will head south on the Motorway Pathways towards Shands Road When you reach the intersection with the underpass to your left you will take a right to Wilmers basin, run through this to Wilmers Road, back onto the pathway at Meadow Mushrooms entrance to the Spring's Road Roundabout, left here back to the underpass, take a right under the underpass and follow the pathway to Marshs Road.
At Marshs Road there will be a stop/go control, cross straight across the road and follow the pathway to Prebbleton, turn around back to Marshs road, take a left for about 250m, turnaround back to the Stop/Go control, cross Marshs Road and run back to Canterbury A&P Park in reverse to what you came to the Finish Line.
10km and 5km
The 5km and 10km runners will start at the same time as the Half Marathon runners and will run out through the underpass and continue toward and turn at the 2.5km and 5km markers and return on the same route you ran out on.
If all walkers and runners must keep left throughout the run from other competitors coming towards them. We do have some runners from Achilles running with added runners, please give these runners space.
The pathway has been advertised that it is closed for the event, although some people still chose to ignore these notices so please treat the pathway as open, meaning some cyclist may be on the pathway. There will be a Stop/Go control at Marshs Road.

This will start after the Half Marathon runners. This will be an out and back course.
