My Story…
My Reason to Run...both sides of my family have been affected deeply by Alzheimer's. I lost my grandfather R.T. Bolen on November 27,2019 and my Great Aunt Alice Diminno on July 23, 2023.
Watching your loved ones memories disappear is indescribable; then their health declines faster, because they cannot always remember to tell you about their symptoms and they don't remember to take their medications. It's extremely painful to watch.
A donation to the Alzheimer's Association will get us one step closer to finding a cure so more families won't have to suffer from this disease. The Alzheimer's Association is a non-profit that aims to end Alzheimer's and other dementias.
The mission of the Alzheimer's Association is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care for all those affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's disease.
