My Story…
Raising money for Urban Impact! Missed my half Marathon goal time last year by a whopping 40 seconds so I gotta try again. But! I don’t really need a big excuse to do what I can to help raise funding for Urban Impact Foundation Programs. I love being a part of an organization that is dedicated to supporting families by providing opportunities for their children to be nurtured in mind body and spirit. I am also very proud that two of our children have made commitments to serve in the UIF mission and I want to show my support for their dedication. One evening at Target I overhead a mom say something about Urban Impact. Turns out that her son is involved in programs and they “loved” my daughter and son-in-law. She was grateful to them as mentors for her son but also because they had supported her family during a difficult time. I also want to thank the talented UIF Marketing Manager/team Captain Paulson for inspiring me to join Running for a Reason and trying hard things!!
