My Story…
As many of you know, rescue animals and running are near and dear to my heart. Ginger, Scout, Cash(dogs), Felanie, and Con(cats) were all rescues. I also coach cross country and track programs year round (Sometimes the pets even make an appearance)! Incredibly, the 2025 Pittsburgh Half Marathon allows me to combine my love of running and rescue pets by running for a charity. Every dollar donated by you goes directly towards Animal Friends, a Pittsburgh based animal welfare group. Your donation will help to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome shelter animals. It will also help ensure healthy pets though education, advocacy, and affordable services. Please consider donating to help me reach my goal and positively effect the lives of rescue animals!
$500 could admit two animals in crisis to Animal Friends.
$250 may underwrite up to 10 spay or neuter surgeries.
$100 could support the medical care of an animal rescued by our Humane Police Officers.
$50 may provide pet food to a family in need through our Chow Wagon Pet Food Bank.
$25 could feed and shelter one animal for one day.
$10 may provide enrichment activities for Animal Friends residents.
No donation is too small. Every dollar truly makes a difference in the lives of the pets and people of our region.
