My Story…
Hey all, I’m running the Pittsburgh half marathon again this year in support of the Western PA Parkinson’s Foundation. This has become a tradition for me since my dad was diagnosed in 2016. A former marathoner himself, I grew up running with him, and he still manages to stay positive and active every day. Donations go to our local nonprofit, which is a direct and invaluable resource to my family, as well as many others in the area.
This will be my first half since my ankle injury/surgery in 2022 (gotta love rock climbing). I was a little hesitant to announce my race too soon, but I’m feeling strong and ready to run. That said, this is gonna be a crunch time fundraiser. The race is coming up quick on May 4, so get your donations in! Thanks to all who are able to contribute!
