My Story…
Hello,I am fundraising on behalf of the Black Nurse Network Pittsburgh. I am excited to be participating in my first 5k, and also to be fundraising for a great organization. As you may know, I am a new nurse, and it is important to me to be apart of this. Having a space for black women nurses in Pittsburgh is a blessing. Often times we are the only ones in work spaces or classes, so having people who look like me, can relate & understand me is a reassuring feeling. I went to the annual brunch last year and it was so amazing to see & speak with so many women who are nurses that truly care about this field. It made me feel good to choose nursing as my career and to be able to be included in things like this. Every donation, big or small, helps bring us closer to making a lasting impact & will help future & current nurses with scholarship opportunities and more. Thank you :)
