My Story…
Here is why I need your support. With funding being cut for scientific research and the potential loss of Medicaid funds to provide nursing care for our most vulnerable seniors your support has never been more necessary.
I watched my beautiful vibrant, funny, nature loving, compassionate and kind mother slip away from me over 15 agonizing years. I got married, had children and watched as she became more of a child while they grew up. This is a heartbreaking process for anyone to go through as a spouse, caregiver, a child, family member and most importantly as the patient themselves. I run every year to honor my beautiful mother and work so that families in the future won’t sit and watch their loved ones slip away while still being ever so alive. Help me raise funds to support families going through this journey and fund research to find treatments and or a cure to stop the progression of Alzheimer’s in the future. Your support may very well be what keeps my own children from experiencing the pain of caring for a parent as they decline.

As an ALZ Stars runner, I am joining the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia by raising funds and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association Greater Pennsylvania Chapter!
