I believe that everyone should have access to the resources they need to thrive - healthy food, safe places to be outdoors or exercise, and educational opportunities to help them grow, learn, and succeed. I'm excited to be running in support of the Homeless Children's Education Fund this year! I grew up in the East End and live with my husband and two daughters in Point Breeze.
Description
Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
