My Story…
Hello everyone! This is my 6th year fundraising for ARYSE (Alliance for Refugee Youth Support and Education) and I will be running the 2025 Pittsburgh Marathon Relay with my best friend!
I can’t stress enough how important this fundraiser is for ARYSE. The money raised here goes directly to their most important summer programming. Why does this matter? I know that when I was in High School, having spaces where I could be myself, make friends and feel heard and valued made all the difference. This is what ARYSE hopes to do - provide immigrant teens safe spaces to connect, have fun, find their voice and learn how to be leaders!
Collectively, we are hoping to raise $30,000 and I want to raise $300 of it. Would you consider partnering with me and helping us meet our goal?
Description
This year, our goal is to raise at least $30,000 through the marathon campaign, which will cover the essential expenses for our program like student transportation, interpretation and translation services, hot meals, and personnel. Thanks to donations from hundreds of individuals and local foundations, the program is completely free of cost to participants. Support from our marathon runners and their networks will help us keep it that way.
