My Story…
I’m lacing up my running shoes for a cherished cause; the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). On May 3rd, as an extra challenge for Marathon Weekend, I will be running the UPMC Sports Medicine 5k, and then on May 4th, 2025 I’ll be running a half marathon. NOTE: This fundraising page specifically supports my additional 5k race efforts, as an attempt to further my goals for the ALS Association.
I've decided to raise funds for the ALS Association, an organization that’s making a significant impact in the lives of those affected by this challenging disease.
By supporting my run, you’re contributing to vital research, crucial patient care services, and community support provided by the ALS Association. Your donation will help fund groundbreaking research aimed at finding effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure. It will also provide critical resources for those living with ALS, offering them hope and support during their journey.
Your generosity and support mean the world to me and to all those battling ALS. Together, we can drive change, support research, and bring hope to countless individuals and families affected by this devastating disease. Thank you for joining me on this journey and for helping make a difference in the fight against ALS!
With gratitude,
Brittany
