Our story…
Hi Everyone,
I am again raising money for the Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennsylvania through the Pittsburgh Marathon this year. I personally am running the Half Marathon, but decided it would still be fun to do the fundraising through a relay team dedicated to my dad who battled the disease for 10+ years.
The race will fall on exactly two years since he lost his battle, and I think there is no better way to honor his legacy than battling through the aches of training and doing something he always loved, running. Of course washed down by a few beers afterwards, but that is what he would have wanted.
All support is welcome, even if it is just a good luck text the day of. Main goal is spreading awareness and doing what I can for an organization that always did what they can for my dad.
